Driving down Lombard is one of those things people do just because everyone else does it. Beyond that, there's nothing particularly special about it. All you do is slowly creep down a windy street. The wait to drive down Lombard can get pretty long. It seems like Uber drivers would lose money if they got a customer who wanted to go down Lombard. I believe Lyft allowed tipping in the app from the beginning. Uber eventually added the tip option to the app a year or two ago. I usually tip unless there is something horrifically wrong.
