When you get to the last area before the seal, get close to the wall and equip bow. Start shooting at seal. Bed of chaos is absolute hot garbage and its made worse by being in the worst area of any souls game, sadly. Demon Ruins/Lost Izalith were rushed during development and is technically unfinished. Bed of Chaos is the most obvious victim of this.My main issue with bed of chaos was the timing. Run in to trigger the swipes and as the scythes are doing their thing, rush in and try for the branch.
