So to help keep redundant posts down, I'm writing up a synopsis of what we've seen so far, clues we've been given and some fan theories on the matter. The Escape From Tarkov Letters quest from Mechanic is a new task that has been added to the game to coincide with the ongoing Sanitar event. While mid and end of wipe events in Escape From Tarkov are nothing new, we rarely get new quests to pair with them, which makes this one all the more exciting. I think it would be fun. Usually wipes last about 6 months but sometimes they're a bit shorter or longer. Wipes are normally confirmed about a day in advance by BSG, but crazy events happen about a week before wipe which are called pre wipe events.Run fully geared shooting people and extracting with their loot. If that gets boring do some rag to riches stuff on reserve, basically start out with a basic ak/m4, with space for attachments, and build it in raid as you get parts for it.
